    If your kids are of a certain age (teenagers) and are fighting to use the family pc, this won't help you! However, if they are arguing over peripheral space, (bits where you connect digital cameras etc to the pc), this will help. Our pc simply ran out of spare usb 2 ports. We had, amongst other things, 2 digital cameras. Unfortunately, many peripheral devices have usb cables where the connections to the peripheral device are different. Given that usb ports are often at the back of the pc, disconnecting unused cables and replacing them with the cable for the device you want to use often ... more
