This particular connector is the only one to my knowledge that has the svhs input. I've seen and used others which have only the three phono inputs. However these ... ...(gives you a better connection which also results in a better picture quality - but any connector is only as good as the equipment your plugging into), also the others tend to be just locked to Input or just to Output. This one actually has a switch which means you can put it on a vcr as an input or output, this is great as it gives you more options from just the one connector.

These are similar to the connector i got with my playstation 2, but these are of a higher quality plus it can take svhs and can be switched to input or output.

However these tend to be just silver quality whereas this is gold (gives you a better connection which also results in a better picture quality - but any connector is only as good as the equipment your plugging into), also the others tend to be just locked to Input or just to Output. Generally i've seen these for around the £10 mark. And for that price they are very strong too. Mine have taken lots of chucking about over the years but they never fall apart.
