the I needed to go away and get a VGA cable to hook it up and that's what I did. Since I have alot of things around my TV (lots of computers things and electricity) I didnt want any sort of crosstalk (disturbance on the cable from other electrical devices- its quite rare now but not unheard of) I made sure that i got a double shielded wire, the best one of these that i could find was the Belkin PRO series. This basically means that it has 2x the amount of protective sheath around the cable so that nothing can get through and distort the signal. Belkin are one of the leaders in computer products, they make everything from routers to cables and I have a few of their products and they have never gone wrong for me, so I trust them and their products. Official Wii Component Video Cable

Advantages: Far better picture than standard composite, better looking games
Disadvantages: Expensive, Only needed for larger screens 32" or greater

After the release of the little white bundle of joy on the 8/12/2006 people were given a composite cable to show off their new shinny new console. Belkin Power Cable

Advantages: Works perfectly, Fits Snug, Lengthy enough
Disadvantages: None

I bought this for plugging in my computer because the power supply I had to buy did not include one. There isn't much to say on a power cable so this is about all I could think of. My main reasons for choosing this where because I knew Belkin is a very respectable brand for when it comes to electronic connector cables and its length suited my needs perfectly. I found that the cable fits very snugly into the back of my computer so that when it gets knocked about for some reason (kicking from mad frustration during games :) ) then it does not fall out. It is easily strong enough to hold its own weight in so it doesn't pull itself out- which is a problem one of my crappy computer monitors was having.
