When it comes to sharing an internet connections there is nothing easier then using one of these babies, when I first tried to share out internet connection I firstly tried just using two standard wireless cards to connect to computers, what a nightmare that was, then one day we gave up and went for one of these babies this resolves the issue of having to leave the computer with the ease of use of this unit.
For a good little investment of around £70 this box solves all issues with setting up a wireless network with ease.
The unit comes with idiot proof instructions telling you how to set it up everything from configuring you computer in simple idiot proof steps to setting up a securely encrypted wireless network in your home or office.
The unit is nice and small around the size of a large book and packs all the features you need such as:
A firewall Configurable filters 4 Wired LAN ports Security measures Password protected configuration interface Compatible with 802.11a and b networks Runs at 12Mb and 54Mb speeds mixed or up to 108Mbps only
The router is configured via a web interface by typing the routers IP address (sort of a phone number) into the address bar this address is by default 188.8.131.52 and is in the instructions, once there the router is configured with a wizard to get your internet connection configured and then the wireless and home or office network can also be set up using the simple to follow instructions.
I have used other routers in my job and have always found this one to be the best and easiest to use out of any.
The router automatically connects when switched on so users needn't bother having to do anything when wanting to connect simply brilliant, feature packed, yet simple to use must be one of if not the best available in its range.
I use a D- Link Wireless ADSL Router which was fairly easy to set up. Pauline.

Good review, but a little short. I would like to know more about the actual set-up and being that I've given up in trying to network our two computers because of snags, would this product be worth getting for someone like me.. etc... Derek
