Advantages: transport pictures off your mobile phone - data from a pda - saves messing about with cables
Disadvantages: most units have to be withen 1 meter of the irda device

...BELKIN IRDA .... Well this device from belkin connects to your pc via usb the softwre that comes with it is on a flopy disc so make so you have one first . Instalation of this hasrdware is pretty simple first plug in your irda device into your usb port, then put in your floppy disc goto install now a little tip for you when installing the software it will get so far then a box will come up and say continue anyway and if you continue this device may not work properly end now .....well on all belkin software if useing xp always says this if you go to continue anyway it will load up properly as i had days of bother with this till i read up that it is a common fault. so once installed away you go . it often finds your phone soon as you goto transfer image etc from your phone same as the pda`s i often use this to transfer my pictures from... Advantages: A portable drive that does the job

...The belkin USB flash drive is very useful for storing information and transferring it from one computer to another. It saves and backs-up documents, presentations, music,videos and photographs. I have found it to be very quick and easy to use, although I have only used it for text documents so far. It's basically a replacement for the old floppy disc but it's smaller, more modern and can do more. Just plug it into any USB port on your computer, it will be detected it as a removable disk drive and away you go! It is available in 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512 MB versions. I have the 64mb version which is currently available at shop4usb.com for only 8.99, (damn! I paid quite a bit more at Argos). If you're on Windows XP, 2000 or ME you can just plug in and use immediately. For Windows 98 and 98 SE, drivers are included in the neatly... Read review
