Advantages: Very good sound reproduction, always set up ready for use. Disadvantages: Needs an external anrenna, plus fitting. Dated nowadays.
, (as are the phones is it made for) but the principle is brilliant, you have a phone holder that gives genuine handsfree operation, with sound that is virtually as good as a radio. Your own voice is picked up and transmitted with the same clarity. The holder itself is very good, if a little large by modern standards, it holds the phone safely and securely, whilst recharging the phone battery. There is no vibration, and the phone will not fly out of the holder at level crossings.
I do realise that a lot of bluetooth headsets are replacing this type of kit nowadays, and they are very clear, but these kits do have their merits. The speaker is mounted wherever you want it, and so the sound comes equally to both ears, unlike the bluetooth that goes in one ear only.
The microphone is equally good, being able to pick up sound of very good ...
Advantages: great volume Disadvantages: not both ears
Speakers are great and have along wire so doesnt fall out of eye. Great product i would recommend to anyone to buy this product if you want easy to use head phones and starter kit. I bought my product from a online shop as is much cheaper here if you wnated to buy. Works with all phones i have tried and recommend to anyone. Only thing is it isnt both ears which i prefer but a great product anyway, i understand from a friend you can get two ear ones but i didnt look good enough, but i found shop on ebay but be careful when buying. Recommend to buy from this website or a retail shop. Grea head phones love to pieces. ...
Advantages: Good sound quallity, nokia phone users already have a charger Disadvantages: Lacking in hands free controls
No volume control so you have to use the one on the phone (not handsfree friendly), uncomfortable in the ear, changeable covers act as ear clip which feels tacky and the sound quality isn't great.
On the plus side, uses the same charger as my mobile phone (the current uber small plug) so I do not have to carry two cargers with me everywhere.
Sound quality is reasonable, and when the volume on the phone is up, this unit handles the volume without distortion so handy in noisy enviroments.
Overall, not as good as my old Motorola headset which also had many more handsfree functions over this Nokia unit and was the same price.
My recommendation, look at the Motorola or Jabba sets ...
