...Okay, so before everyone gets too excited at the prospect of reading a review about a network cable, I'll bring you all back down to Earth and try to convince you why this one is so great... If you've bought computer peripherals before, you will probably be familiar with Belkin, who are particularly well-known for their USB products. Belkin make all sorts of cables, including a variety of ethernet network cables. This is a Cat 5 standard network cable (coloured red, but you can get it in many other colours, including black, grey, yellow, green, blue etc). One of the major problems with network cables is their tendency to snag when bent through a small radius, and because of the way the individual wires are twisted around eachother inside the cable, this can lead to network errors. Advantages: gives you an extra 1.8 meters on any USB product

...that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did. I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not going to be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying on the floor...
