With it's own power supply, it can provide proper 500 mA per port power, and each port comes with it's own overload setting. As USB becomes more and more popular, this is an easy expansion method, enabling you to chain up to 127 devices together. Although a little bit more expensive than some rivals, it not only looks stylish, but can be linked together with the Busstation to give you lots of different component options. Installation was easy, as windows picks it up straight away and uses it's own drivers....

Advantages: great design, vertical ports for regular items such as memory sticks, led display Disadvantages: maybe a bit expensive but comparrison but it is quality
...I bought this hub as an impulse purchase but based my decision on:
(a) you can never have enough usbports
(b) belkin are a respected manufacturer
(c) I liked the design
It cost me £12 when I bought it but I think that was the stores mistake as I have seen it advertised at between £19 and £24. Even at that price though this is a good piece of kit.
Bearing in mind you can get USB2hubs for about half the piece of this one made by companies you may have never heard of, the design and features on this device make it a very attractive and useful addition to your desktop.
It has seven USBports; five on the back and two placed nattily and very usefully on the top. The top ones are what make this great in my view. They are ideal for things you want to plug in and take out on a regular and irregular basis. I use them for usb memory sticks...

...This little piece of hardware has been an absolute lifesaver for me!! Recently my computer has become increasingly full with various extras that have been using up my USBports. With things like printers, scanners, digital cameras, mobile phones etc. it is very easy to fill these USBports, and when all of mine became full I didn’t have a clue what to do. Then I found out about this little piece of hardware that allows you to have 4 extra ports. It seemed like the perfect solution so I ordered it as soon as possible. When it came I couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a tiny little box (5cm*7.5cm*1cm) that looks perfectly respectable on any new office or home desk, with its see-through exterior. It is good value for money, especially if you are urgently in need of more USBports, and is all round a great piece of hardware...
