I owned a number of mp3 players before getting the 16GB Nano. Overall I am very impressed. I enjoy the range of colours offered, and honestly think they are very sleek.
The battery lifespan is great! I can go for days without needing to charge my iPod.
The Nano is very small and sleek and can easily fit into any pocket. This makes it really easy to carry around. I would suggest purchasing a sleeve or cover because it seems to scratch easily. Also, while I was living in a colder climate, I felt it became slippery and hard to hold on to so a sleeve would solve that problem as well.

When I held the iPodnano, if felt solid and well built in my hand. It is very small, and dissapears easily in your pocket. The click wheel is rather inconsistent, jumping down categories at times. The new UI (user interface) is rather slow, sometimes taking a few seconds to load a menu. Coverflow is pointless... BUT, for its functionality, great appearance, and price, it is a great player for the beginner buyer. Very easy to use and the itunes website and software is very easy to use also. The earphones are a bit poor quality but these are easily upgraded with many types now availabe. Battery life can be short when using to view films and also slow to convert films to correct format but this function is a bit pointless as the screen is too small for viewing full films ...
Advantages: Stylish, big screen and made by sony!! Disadvantages: Other products have bigger memory like classic ipods.

This mp3 looks very nice with good use of colour, style and design. This mp3 has a big screen which is good for watching videos or just viewing pictures.
It has 8gb storage which is not very good as other products in the same range like classic ipods can have upto 160gb storage. You can also get his model with a 16gb hard drive which is an idea.
It has a built in regargable battery pack which means there is no need for batteries with this product. It is very portable as it is small and only weights 120grams.
