i currently own this product for my iTOUCH 8gb. it is made of real leather which adds to the effect. It is very durable and does look god on the product. However, i did drop my itouch with the protection leather case on. This did NOT protect my itouch. Its down side it that it has a big open area at the top of the case and this therefore gave me no protection. I no currently have scratches and a slight chip on the top of my itoouch. i would only recomend this if you want the protection cover to look good. If you are likely to drop it then i would not recomend it to the everyday user. to conclude i think that it is a good buy and it is cheap of Amazon.com/ .co.uk
