I had used inbuilt wireless in my laptop (an HP Pavillion tx1000, that I have also reviewed) for two and a half years, until my internal wireless failed and couldn't be easily replaced. Also after trying this on my laptop, which actually has wireless built into it, the wireless adapter still worked just as good as the laptops already built in wireless did.
