Its a Mini DV with a 4Mb MultiMediacard for still images (good results...especially when compared to Sony's PC range). JVC provide you with all the PC connection cables for easy downloading of still images. Plus all the cables for connecting to your TV and Video. Fairly simple to use. Easy menu control and excellent 'Photo Shoot' option for stills. Still images can either be stored on the MultiMediacard or while recording on the tape. Handling of the camera is pretty good, although a little awkward in terms of where to place your index finger. Has a built in flash which most other cameras don't. Advantages: Excellent value Disadvantages: Small size
...An excellent little card for varide use, I currently use one of these in an old Nokia smart phone, it does everything I need, the speed is perfectly good enough for small to medium cameras and phones. This MMC card is the slimline version of teh SD card, made smaller to fit smaller devices such as Phones and ery small MP3 players.
A worthwhile purchase, a definate to add to your memory card arsnal!

This doubles up as a digital camcorder, and a digital camera in one. It includes an 8Mb SD MultiMediaCard, meaning that immediate purchase of an extra memory card is not necessary.
The camera has 2 recording modes: Automatic and Manual. In automatic mode the camera trys to focus on the principal object in view and automatically adjusts the white balance and brightness to obtain the clearest image possible. in manual mode the user is able to select the focus range, therefore allowing close up shots. The camera also has the function of an image intensifier allowing for use in low light conditions
