Advantages: Easy to Install ad to Setting great connection speeds Disadvantages: Not supported for Linux systems
...I brought belkinwirelesscard to try to cut down the amount of cables seem to running through my house at the moment it’s great I have no problems with it I always have a connection at good speeds and it goes through two floor to get to me I get an average connection of 40Mbps.
It’s really easy to install this wirelesscard, you the wireless in to an empty PCI slot turn your computer on and insert driver disk for the wirelesscard. If the wirelesscard has been installed correctly it should pick up your network quick and then just put in the setting to connect to that network.
I recommend this wirelesscard as a good deal the only thing that’s let it down is that belkin doesn’t support it to work on Linux systems, but overall it’s a good wirelesscard to buy have really easy to setup and to follow the instructions provided with it....

Advantages: Easy to install Disadvantages: Crashes my machine!
...I bought the Belkin range of products so I could setup a wi-fi network at home.
I have the Belkin 54g Router and also have a Belkin 11g card in my desktop at home, so with this set-up successfully I bought the 54g notebook card for my laptop.
All were fairly easy to setup but I imagine it could be tricky if you have no networking knowledge.
So all installed and ready to go.
My laptop has never been the same since. I manage to work for between 10 - 60 mins then it's crash time, computer screen just freezes!
This happens around 5 - 10 times a day something that never happened prior to the installation of this card.
So technical support i thought, wrong!
After waiting for around 45 mins on the dedicated support line I ended up putting the phone down.
Email them. So i emailed them with my problem. Around 4 days later I get...

Advantages: good brand, lifetime guarantee, easy to install, good customer support Disadvantages: not universally compatible, more hassle than usb adaptors, poor signal
...I bought this network card along with the belkinwireless g router .
Installation was easy enough and the instructions were clear and straightforward.
As the card is situated in the pc itself it is discreetly out of the way.
The card has a lifetime guarantee and so there are no issues with replacement due to failure.
I found this adapter to be quite unreliable with frequent breaks in the signal occuring. The signal strength was also not that good the majority of the time.
The price was below average next to the competition and so this product seems value for money.
This item isnt universally compatible as I found out when I went from NTL to BT for my broadband supply.
Despite the card pickin up a signal, this adapter simply wouldnt work with a BT home hub and so I purchased a usb connection adapter instead which worked fine...

What it does:- connects your ADSL connection to an internal network using either cables or wireless. The MIMO and N1 designations show that its at the bleeding edge of wireless standards so its one of the first wireless routers that is (theoretically)... more

I wish I'd read the reviews of this product before I bought, I usually do when purchasing new computer components but for some reason didn't this time... More fool me.

I recently had the misfortune of having to swap my cable wireless router, I say misfortune as the last time I had to do it it took me nearly three days to get everything back up and running the way it was before, so when my Linksys router decide to stop... more
