...I've had this KVM switch for a number of years now, since my previous one only had two ports. I found this one fairly cheap somewhere. You're supplied with all the VGA and PS2 cables for each of the 4 connections. You can then plug these cables into your computers. The button on the top allows for quick switching. But as well as using the button for switching between computers, you are also able to use keyboard shortcuts. These are pretty common in KVM switches, and belkin manage to do it the same way as everyone else. Great for people that are already used to using a KVM switch. The KVM switch has a useful beep, which can be helpful to understand when a command was received by the switch. The switch also has a port for plugging in power. ...that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did. I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not going to be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying on the floor... Advantages: small, dose the job
Disadvantages: gets hot, prints a little slow, over priced for what it is

...Normally i dont like Belkin products they often dont do what they promise and are usually hard to set up, this one dose however do the job and in fact was easy to set up. I do use a Belkin router which perhaps helped. I just followed the quick start sheet stage by stage and the unit worked first time. I did not need any additional drivers from the printer disk (hp all in one 100 series) .Print start is quick but printing is a little slow. Belkin supply a network cable (which is needed to set up only) but no USB cable (needed to link the printer during use) which is a mistake in my view. Like many of there products the unit gets quite warm and may act up when over hot as some of the other products do, Biggest problem is (perhaps not one everyone will have) my printer has only one usb port but i want it connected to both my desktop...
