Advantages: easdy to use,USB connections,up to 4 pc's

...,most previous switches used ps2 connectionsfor keyboard and mouse which was a real pain,the move to USB is both obvious and overdue and really puts the switch into the must have bracket for multi users. Im no lover of Belkin products,they often run hot and have poor documentation but the KVM switch is quite simpe to set up and dead easy to use so the manual is not a problem and as a switch it has no real heat problem. Its not a pretty thing,but switches rarely are, they have by definition 'untidy wires' sprouting out of them so they are best hidden away. The Belkin switch makes a good effort to be easy to use via your keyboard and easy to handle as far as cable plug ins go. The second point is a bit unnessary as once its set up u can forget it. Most KVM's handle only two pcs but this one will do up to four(although i havent tried more than two... Read review

Advantages: Good cable,
Disadvantages: Quite pricey

...Network cables are maybe not the first thing you think of when considering a network but they should be. You can have a super fast router but if your cable isnt up to it, then why bother. Belkin are the standard setters in the network cable world. If you want top quality then you buy belkin. So if your considering sharing an internet connection to play games etc then you really need decent cable. However, if like me you only share your connection for browsing and downloading, then you don't really need this kind of high quality cable. I personally have cable running that I bought for £2.14 for a 15m cable (that includes the connectors on the end). For internet browsing etc this is fine. In conclusion, if you need speed and low ping times then belkin is the way to go. You can even use the snagless cable to allow easier running... Read review
