...The Kensington Shield TFT Privacy Filter is designed for display privacy. I had this for my old 15" TFT monitor and it worked pretty well. I bought it at the time for the anti-glare feature and easy use as I didn't want to glue or use any type of Velcro pads on my monitor. So this was ideal for those reasons. This screen filter is part of Kensington's ergonomic product range. The filter is ideal for privacy protection as it reduces viewing angle to only 75 degrees, so other people around you can't see your screen 37.5 degrees both sides, left and right. This is also a visual filter making it more comfortable for you to look at your screen for long hours at a time. The built in anti-glare feature reduces glare by up to a huge 99%. ...), and the "Wireless" setup guide card gave the address to point a browser window at to get into the Belkin configuration screens. Simple enough, and a nice blue icon on the Belkin told me my laptop and the Belkin were happily in communication with each other, and Internet Explorer brought up the config screen when pointed at the addrees http://192.168.2.1 . Within about 15minutes, after exploring the options on the "Internet WAN" section of the Belkin Setup screens on http://192.168.2.1, and typing in the ISP account details saved from my previous ADSL modem, my Belkin modem/router was showing in bright blue that it could see the ADSL connection to my ISP, and also it could see the rest of the Internet - so much so that it could get out and show me information from the Belkin corporate website. ...I'm no expert on these things so don't go on what I say here... But... I've brought a fair few different glare screen filters in the past and many haven't quite lived upto their jobs - with most being fairly bulky, cumbersom and a couple even totally useless. I do IT reqs and buying these things is a real trial and error process - but - alas - my worries are over - and at an excellent price. SlimScreen is one of the latest additions to the glare screen filter market. The bonus with this one is the SlimScreen's thin cover and ese of installation makes it a very good product... And it fits perfectly to both CRT and TFT monitors... so no worries on that score.... Read review
