...i bought this off my local asian retailer and have had nothing but problems with it from day 1!!! the mouse goes dead all the time which requires you to take out and replace the batteries to reactivate, which is a pain especially as i play a lot of poker online. the keyboard is just as bad in that it constantly misses letters out when typing, meaning you have to manually go back over your work and correct these mistakes.
i tried replacing batteries almost daily to see if this is where the problems lay but still found the same problems. i may just have been unlucky and bought a faulty device but it is only 2 months old and my advice would be to avoid buying this in the first place. a total waste of both time and money! 1/10....

Advantages: Small, Cheap, Wireless, Good range Disadvantages: Hungry, very hungry !
...’t think is all that good. I understand why the mouse burns through so many batteries - the optical laser which records the movements of the mouse is on all the time, even when its idle, where as a typical wireless ball mouse will only use battery power when the mouse is in movement.
The worst is when you have been using the mouse the night before, left it on overnight without realising and trying to use it again in the morning, (slightly frustrating!!).
I strongly recommend that if you are going to purchase the Belkin mini opticalmouse that you invest in a battery charger and some rechargeable AAA batteries, because, unless you don’t mind shelling out for new batteries every week, you going to need them. I use a Uniross battery charger and four Uniross 750 mAh rechargeable batteries, and find generally that the batteries last that little...

...I've just installed this great keyboard and mousewireless set.
It is great - the mouse is optical and the keyboard, well made.
One vital piece of information: this keyboard works seamlessly with a KVM. I have a Belkin 2 port KVM and it set up perfectly.
Some of the Logitech wireless sets do not support KVM switches and in fact one in particular does not have a "scroll lock" key - which is the hot-key for switching between the computers connetced to the switch.
So, in short, if you are looking to have a wireless keyboard and mouse and need a PS/2 connection and are using a KVM (Belkin or otherwise) and are on a budget - you simply cannot go wrong with this set....
