Advantages: Works with no hassle in Windows XP SP2 Disadvantages: None
...We have two of these at work which we use for Bluetooth development. Both adaptors are fully Bluetooth 2.0 compatible and support the following profiles: Object Push, File Transfer, Personal Area Network, Advanced Audio (Music Streaming), Audio Remote Control.
Unlike the previous Belkin Bluetooth modules, the software supplied with these dongles works perfectly within Windows XP SP2! No hacking is required and with this dongle/software, you don\'t have to use Microsoft\'s Bluetooth stack. Software installation is very easy, insert the CD, follow the instructions and that\'s about it. After installation is complete, finding other devices, pairing and exchanging data is very easy.
We\'re using the two dongles to create a personal area network between 2 computes. 1 computer has an internet connection which is being shared. We\'re happily...

Advantages: small, no power supply needed Disadvantages: very old hat, will not work with all printers, bad instructions
...I bought this item because I wanted to link my printer to a laptop (using a wireless print server) and my desk top (by cable). What was NOT made clear by the supplier (in fact any supplier on the net offering this product as far as I can see) is that this switch is as good as obsolete. Firstly it comes in the usual clear heat sealed package which must be attacked with a knife to gain entry, once your in and open the 'installation booklet' it says in large bold letters 'this item will not work with multi-funtion printers' Would be nice to know that BEFORE you open the packet in this modern day when a large number...

Advantages: Fast, Easy Setup Disadvantages: Technology beginning to become outdated
..., the device is as simple as it gets to setup - you require next to no prior experience.
The unit sells for around £40 in most high street stores, which is very competitive for such a device and I have found that when used with a Belkin Network Card (although others work well), the device matches the quality that you'd expect from a high-end Wireless Access Point.
Even If you've got a wired network already, buying this unit would let you see the many benefits of switching to a wireless network.
I'm very happy with my Access Point, and am yet to have any problems with it! It's been working 24/7 for around 4 months now!
