Simply plug in your PC Modem card into any laptop/notebook computer with a PCMCIA slot (Type II, III or IV). Then connect your PCMIA Modem Cable from the PC Card to a regular RJ11 phone jack and you've got an instant connection to the world.
Advantages: compact, good front-panel display, wall-mountable Disadvantages: temperamental web interface, lots of virtual knobs, bells and whistles
...Bring the Internet into the comfort of your own home.

After a few years of daily accessing the Internet from home, you begin to realise how much that corner of a dark room where the telephone-line enters your home really isn't the best place to sit doing it...
Pictures in the glossies of people sitting on their deck in the garden, or relaxing by the river, laptop open with unfettered access to their files back in the office help break the myth that you need to be where the Internet is to use it. Really not for a big house! Review ofBelkin ADSL2+ Modem with High-Speed Mode Wireless-G Router - wireless routerby
kooldavy
Advantages: Easy setup of settings Disadvantages: Range is very poor
...Last September I bought one of these wireless routers. After 1 day I sent it back.
Have you ever walked into a Computer Store like PC World and went to the Wireless Section? Well next time you do go to the Belkin section and see how many products have been sold. I was in PC World and on most boxes I found the label "Opened, Returned" or something like that. Basically Belkin mades really bad wireless products and I'll explain my experience now.

-In the same room I got full strength.
- In the hall Very Good Strength
- Another room about 10 feet away from router (between 2 walls) started...

Advantages: Good cable, Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...Network cables are maybe not the first thing you think of when considering a network but they should be.
You can have a super fast router but if your cable isnt up to it, then why bother. Belkin are the standard setters in the network cable world. If you want top quality then you buy belkin. So if your considering sharing an internet connection to play games etc then you really need decent cable.

In conclusion, if you need speed and low ping times then belkin is the way to go. You can even use the snagless cable to allow easier running...
