Belkin network gender converter

Advantages: Features, Security, It still runs
Disadvantages: Unreliable, very poor WLAN coverage, Tedious to configure

...I am stressed at the time of writing this review I've just tried to get the Belkin Wireless ADSL modem to speak to a Belkin Print Server but to no success whatsoever. I've been running this Belkin Modem for soon to be a year and I hate it. Its unreliable- it disconnects from the internet unpredicitivly, and takes a while to get back on- does this way too often. It's WAN coverage is poor- I'm in a three story house (attic converted) and it barely gets reception to the lower floor (its on the top floor). The WAN cannot reach the front or back garden. Configuring this router/modem has been hell- it runs well unsecurely but configuring security for the wireless machines it must speaks to requires numerous restarts and long tedious key entries- wish it could have been quicker. And after all of that it for some reason keeps an insecure... Read review

...This is a very, very good piece of kit IF you can get it to work! It has an in-built 'auto-connect' facility which seldom works and with the 3 networks I have had to install them on, it needed to be hard wired to a PC and connected that way (rather than connecting to the network as Belkin advise). For the price, you cant really grumble, especially if the alternative is installing messy CAT5 cable, or if that is not even an option. It has managed to extend my wireless range (from a Belkin G+ Router) by about 70 meters, with 3 large buildings in . If you can navigate your way around SSID and Security setting issues, it is a useful, and stable bit of hardware!... Read review

...The Belkin Wireless Notebook Card is a good product. the card is only for LAPTOPS not for computers. the good thing about this product is that just say your in your bedroom or in your kitcen or maybe in your garden you can use the internet without any wires and no hassle at all. but you have to remember you need to have a belkin wireless internet network to make this product work for your laptop. I have my very own Belkin Wireless G Notebook card and it runs as fast as when i use to have an ethernet connection i.e. cable internet connection. When i bought my newtwork card it cost me £25.00 but on ciao they are giving you a really good price for it so i recommend buying the product. if you have any questions please let me know and i will be at assistance Hope I Was Useful Thanks For Reading...
