Manufacturer's product description
You just purchased a new switchbox, but faulty wiring is causing your switchbox to send error filled data to your printers. With this Belkin Centronics Parallel Switchbox Cable your new switchbox will be sending pure, clean data. The Centronics Parallel Switchbox Cable is used in applications with Centronics 36 female switchboxes or automatic printer sharing devices. It is not recommended for direct use between PCs and printers. PRODUCT FEATURES: State-of-the-art-wiring design ensures 100% compatibility with all devices 100% of the time; Gold plated copper contacts provide maximum conductivity and keep data loss to a minimum; Oversized ergonomic thumbscrews make installation a breeze; Flextec PVC rubberized cable jacket is extremely flexible for use in tight areas; Molded strain relief and PVC overmolding to ensure a lifetime of error-free data transmission; 28 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors are individually insulated in polypropylene to minimize cross talk, ensuring high-speed, error-free transmission; Ground indents provide excellent conductivity and retention with mating conductors; PVC premold encapsulates individual conductors to ensure electrical isolation and relieve stress; Aluminum undermold shielding helps to meet FCC requirements on EMI/RFI interference.
Advantages: Good cable, Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...Network cables are maybe not the first thing you think of when considering a network but they should be.
You can have a super fast router but if your cable isnt up to it, then why bother. Belkin are the standard setters in the network cable world. If you want top quality then you buy belkin. So if your considering sharing an internet connection to play games etc then you really need decent cable.
However, if like me you only share your connection for browsing and downloading, then you don't really need this kind of high quality cable. I personally have cable running that I bought for £2.14 for a 15mcable (that includes the connectors on the end). For internet browsing etc this is fine.
In conclusion, if you need speed and low ping times then belkin is the way to go. You can even use the snagless cable to allow easier running...

Advantages: Very versatile, handy, and easy to use Disadvantages: A bit more expensive than some other "cheaper" hubs
...The Belkin USB BusStation is an extremely easy way to expand your USB ports / serial / com / ps2 / Ethernet ports. The basic package comes as a 4 bay stackable system, with one base 4 port USB hub, and 3 other 1 port USB hubs. All are removable and can be exhanged for other Belkin hub products. This means total diversity. You could, for example, have 4 x 4 port USB hubs (a 16 port USB hub in total).
The BusStation has it's own power supply, providing a true 500 mA per port current, with an overload protection system on each port.
Currently, Belkin are giving a £5 rebate back if you send off the barcode on the bottom (or a £10 rebate if you send off the barcodes from a BusStation and one other Belkin hub product).

Advantages: gives you an extra 1.8 meters on any USB product Disadvantages: none
...that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did.
I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not going to be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying on the floor...

Since I'm still a poor penniless student i was over the moon when my mam got me a 42" HD TV for an early birthday present. When it finally got delivered I was going crazy thinking about all the possibilities of things I could do with it, when I turned it more
What it does:- connects your ADSL connection to an internal network using either cables or wireless. The MIMO and N1 designations show that its at the bleeding edge of wireless standards so its one of the first wireless routers that is (theoretically)... more
