I bought this book for £6.99 from WH Smith, it's available in paperback adn hard back and prices vary hugely. I picked up this book after the much publicised TV show "Secret Diary of a London Call Girl" was aired on ITV 2 earlier this year. ...basically a diary saying what Belle does in her day to day life and in her work life, which to be honest isnt always that intersting. It tells you what call girls actually get up to, what the men are like which is interesting in the beginning but it gets a bit repetative, and her life outside of work is just . . .well .. .normal! Good points are its is fairly quick and easy to read, its split into small segments which makes it possible to read at ...
...the life of a call girl, warts and all. Bad points are it has a lot of descriptions of sex, which might put some people off, but the title says it all really - 'intimate adventures. The cover was what attracted me to this book, it looks as if its going to be a lot more girly, which it isnt. I would reccomend this book to someone who has an open mind and isnt easily offended. Funny, entertaining, not that steamy really... For the intellectual ones, don't search for an analysis on prostitutes' behaviour or extensive descriptions of characters in it. It's not that type of book. In my opinion, the tv series with Billy Piper were more entertaining, although they don't leave anything to the imagination. I did have a giggle with it though. Best read as a supplement to your monthly Cosmopolitan, which these days is more explicit ...
