of the cost of original manufacturers and can be used in many makes and models of digital device. Rechargeable digital batteries are rated in "mAh" which stands for "milli-ampere hours". This rating is used to state the storage capability of a battery, e.g. a 1000mAh battery would be capable of delivering 1000mA of current consistently for one hour whereas a 2000mAh battery would deliver the same 1000mA of current for two hours. Li-on rechargeable digital batteries can deliver 40% more capacity than comparably sized NiCd batteries and weigh less than the nickel-based batteries and develop no memory effect. U-Bop battery cells are environmentally friendly, feature a very high energy density and have no memory effect. All batteries are produced to the highest quality standards. A built-in microprocessor safeguards the cells by limiting maximum voltage and by protecting against deep discharge, short circuit and overload.Brought to you byU-BopThe Accessories Boutique

When I first saw this camera it was on one of my suplliers websites at an amazingly good price. I was quite surprised when I receieved it and saw how much smaller it is in real life as opposed to on screen! It has a Width of 9.4 cm, Depth 4 cm, Height 6.6 cm and Weighs about 140 g with a very clear 1.6" colour LCD display
I have taken lots of really good photos with this little camera as well as video clips The resolution is about 1.9 Megapixel but up to 3.0 Megapixel (interpolated) with total Pixels being 2,100,000 and interpolated Image Resolution 3,145,728 pixels . One thing they hardly ever mention in advertising though is that the 2300 camera does not have audio capabilities which is quite a let down. The movie format is AVI with video Capture of 320 x 240 this is good enough if you just want to capture those spur of the moment things on video.(You need good light for video as it always tends to be darker on the PC when viewing it. The menu functions are quite simple to use with options to set White Balance to either fluorescent, tungsten light, daylight, or evening sun. Software wise you get quite neat little packages including VideoImpression, ArcSoft PhotoBase and ArcSoft PhotoPrinter which allows for easy storage of photos in folders and categories and making printing simple.
Flash wise it has a built in Flash with Flash Modes including Fill-in mode, slow synchro, auto mode, flash OFF mode and red eye reduction. Battery life is excellent about 2 hours continuous shooting . I have noticed that still shots are much clearer than landscape shots The max resolution on this camera is JPEG 2048 x 1536 which is excellent! No optical zoom but a digital Zoom of 4 x which also needs to be considered (zooming in can sometimes make pictures fuzzy or seem pixelated. All in all I love my little camera I just bought a memory card for it 128MB which will allow me to take hundreds of photos as space is quite an issue on the best resolution and biggest size setting( It only comes standard with 8MB built in). PLEASE note that the camera also only takes Multimedia and secure digital cards which are quite expensive. NO COMPACT FLASH. I have some rechargeable batteries and have travelled the world with my camera. So if you are looking at price, dont mind the lack of audio and splashing out a bit extra on rechargeable batteries and extra memory this camera is great especially for those going away parties and late pub nights!
