For those, who want a decent camera, go for a LUMIX, or something like that.
My dad does photography (he has a DSLR), and he recommended that when buying cameras, go for the companies who make the lenses (Nikon etc), because the cameras will be better - it is the optical zoom, not the digital zoom that you need for quality imaging.
This is pretty poor for what we are told is 10.1 MP. It barely beats a 7MP, which is quite upsetting, but considering BenQ make monitors, i suppose you get what you pay for.
If you want a decent entry-level camera, for simple snapping - this is great. If you want to take decent photographs, for professional reasons - spend the money - it will be worth it.
