I bought the E2400HD 8 months ago and have loved it since the day I received it. I ordered it online and it came in three days later. It came in a standard brown BenQ box with the monitor, the stand, D-Sub, power cable, and an installation CD/manual. I bought it through a friend’s advice as he had bought the E2400HD when it first hit the shelves, and he has been telling me about how awesome it is ever since! It is hard not to agree with him, because the monitor just performs at a superb level and quality for the price range that it is competing in!

The E2400HD would be what I’d like to call a multi-media/functional desktop/laptop peripheral display. It comes with HDMI and DVI support, and is loaded with 1080p (16:9 display or also known as 1920x1080), which gives the monitor a very beautiful bright and crisp display. Blu ray works gorgeously with the Full HD display, so you are more than welcome to hook up your Blu ray player or PS3 to the monitor and watch movies with high quality definition. Although I do not play games myself, and only bought a PS3 for the Blu ray player, my friend always talks about how gaming on his E2400HD with his Xbox360 or PS3 is absolutely phenomenal. There are also many reviews out there that suggest the same option!

I personally enjoy my E2400HD mostly for the widescreen and large display. I use my monitor mainly for work, browsing and movies. As I do a lot of my work from home, it is really important for me to have multiple programs or screens opened at once, and since the E2400HD has such a wide screen it’s perfect for keeping multiple programs opened at once! As I mentioned before, Full HD movies look absolutely spectacular on this monitor, it’s definitely worth buying!
