We live in a small world full of big electronic gadgets. In fact the electronic world is so big that my best friend has this BenQ wide format TFT screen.

This multiple use screen can be used for a variety of tasks: from checking your email to watching a HD movie or even playing HD games via the HDMI port.. Also, its relatively cheap!

However apart from the above advantages there are no other advantages (I watch movies, play games and even surf the net on the monitor every other day...so believe me when I say there are no other major advantages.)

The average quality of this product almost infuriates me (you can see why it is relatively cheap)....(But I believe for what it's worth, it's very overpriced should be 180-220 pounds!.)

Basically one of the biggest disadvantages is that this TFT monitor posseses no audio loudspeaker! Therefore you have to either buy a seperate speaker system or use headphones ( my friends bought a wireless system which allows us both to listen to the monitor....however the price is quite dear!....BenQ certainly did not have the consumer in mind whilst making this satisfactory product.

Although it looks fairly sleek and consumer-attracting the slim look of this monitor makes the screen appear slightly larger than it actually is (gimmick if you ask me!) Also, I was bewildered when I did not see a height adjuster or swivel screen....!(which most TFT monitors possess nowadays.)

The specifications are slightly outdated in this ever changing technological world: This TFT monitor possesses a mere 5 millisecond (ms) response time, 250cd/m2 brightness, 160/160-degree viewing angle and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio (pathetic, I know)...these days most TFT monitors have a 2 ms response time and a 4000:1 contrast ratio.

However,( and this is a BIG however)...despite the fact that I have ranted about its poor qualities....it is an average TFT monitor which looks very good and modern and performs well also....its shame about the above rant of disadvantages....

Picture quality: I would say fairly good, certainly above average: good performance is this area....good for games and watching movies in good quality.

Image Size in relation to tube size: Definitely needs to improve.

Colour sensibility : I find this a good aspect!

Design: Sleek, sexy, modern and a nice enough monitor to use for movies and games! Now this is my top favourite even better than colour sensibility. The only reason it isn't excellent is because it posseses no height adjuster or swivel screen?!

The rest have been rated below......I would recommend this for first time TFT monitor users! (only 1st timers though)!!!!!!

BenQ's a satisfactory brand.....so it will obviously release satisfactory products.

What do you think of all the fab things it can do though? Just thought I would ask as you don't seem to have given any sort of opinion.
