Advantages:
This is the complete package, great for both work and study . Its cool color and design make it an attractive purchase, it is also lightweight and so far very durable (Ive had mine for six months) and the screen clarity is great for watching DVDs .

Great all round computer, would suit students and young professionals. It is a fantastic computer, it is asthetically pleasing with trendy colors, short cut buttons and accessible USB ports (3), volume at the side for easy sound control, other points are at the back and keyboard is very comfortable (to use for hours, as I have just completed my dissertation, I couldn't have done it without this comp.). There is loads of memory, the software it comes with Q music and Q movies are great for exploring editing and movie making, Power DVD is an easy to use package and with the screen clarity DVDs run great, however, some DVDs are noisier than others when they run as you can here the fan running. The main problems I have had have been with XP, programs have more recently been ending unexpectidly and reports have no effect unless you are conected to the net at the time, which is not always possible. There is easiy access for headphones and microphone at the front which are very handy. The touch pad is perfectly situated for good control. It is definatly a computer I would purchase again, it is easy to use and gives you step by step instructions for those of us who are not computer whisses. I recently did a Powerpoint presentation and used it to conect to the overhead projecter and it worked great, I was really impressed and it was so simple. Now I show movies and use the project, makes your room into a movie theatre and with mini speaker you can have surround sound. I must admit that even though I have had it for 6 months there are still things I am finding and working out how to use and it constantly impresses me, and the more I use it, you can adapt thing to make it run even quicker and better. One thing I would recommend to anyone buying any computer is to create a system restore point at the very beginning when you install your initial and subsequent software, I will do this with my next computer but didn't realise that such a thing existed until last month. Unfortunately it only comes with the very basic manuals, how to connect power and what each of the points is for, there are apperently manuals on the net that you can download but I have not yet done this so I can not comment on how useful they are or even if they do actually exist.
