Each of us has something close to his heart. Somebody is dying for sport cars, others love works of art, and the third part is consisted of those who…love computers. For each one of these passions, it doesn't matter the cost for the pleasure, so I wanted to find a justification.

Probably BenQ was counting the passions when creating this notebook. Many times, things are getting old and aren't anymore so usable. BenQ Joybook A53 relies on this thing. The maker integrated in the design all kinds of lines that intersect and look like scratches, which easily attract attention. Well, the effect is unusual and rather interesting.

This notebook model will make a perfect fit for the chat-lovers or people who have to write down a lots of things. For not creating discomfort, A53 is build with a full keyboard which has full-size keys and obviously, the unique (for somebody) numeric keys. Their dimension and spacing enables the writing to be so comfortable, that you may become addicted to it.

Joybook A53 includes a 15.4 inch display with the native resolution 1280x800 and has his special display technology - BenQ UltraVivid. You can observe that on the first meeting with this notebook - the image is more shining, the contrast is very good and if you want to watch some movies or clips, then you must know that the 8ms response time will do perfectly the job.

Now, almost all notebook models have webcam and microphone onboard. Maybe people have started to love this type of communication. This model respects the rule. Even more, the sound received by the microphone is carefully filtered from the outside noise, so your chatting experience can be a full enjoy one.

BenQ Joybook A53 is delivered with, already the classic, Windows Vista. For the good working of applications, ready to stand for his cause is Intel Core 2 Duo T7250. I'm not so excited by the memory included. The 512 Mb are reasonable, but 1Gb and even 2 would make the working more rapid. At the components chapter, the graphic chipset SiS Mirage can "rip" from the RAM almost 256 MB. Other vital components are the network board 10/100, wireless network compatible with 802/11 b and g, dial-up modem.

Another advantage for this notebook is the physical resistance. Unlike others, A53 resists better at temperature variations, vibrations and even to a double weight of his own placed upon. Almost ready for a little war.

The Li-Ion accumulator of 4800 mAh is made up by 6 cells. In normal conditions, the battery will last for almost 3 hours. Although, you can change this from the power management setting.

Doubling the RAM would make this a very attractive proposition.
