Advantages: Looks good, Fast, Cheap, Great graphics Disadvantages: Flimsy feel, not enough RAM
...BenQ? Had you heard of them a few months ago? Well I hadn’t. BenQ are new to Europe although they are well established in the Middle East. If you hadn’t heard of them before Euro 2004 you must do now! When I saw this laptop for an insanely low price a few months ago I was a little skeptical, but after days of research I couldn’t find anything to compete with it, and became more confident about BenQs reputation. So I went ahead and bought it, and I can honestly say this was the best thing I have ever spent £850 on!
The laptop comes with the Centrino 1.4Ghz which is approximately equivalent to the P4 2.2Ghz, with the benefits of greatly increased battery life. BenQs quoted life of 6h is not far off from the actual 5 hours that you get from the battery. It also comes with all the standard bits: DVD/CD-RW drive, 256Mb RAM...

Advantages: nice and bright screen, clear, compact, slim Disadvantages: have not discovered any yet
...I've just recently bought this monitor for 100 pounds in Malaysia. It is really amazing and i'm all excited about it. It is compact and flat screen. Its slim design adds a sleek look to any computing system in any room. it has 6 buttons at the bottom of the screen, each for : internet, exit, adjusting the contrast, adjusting brightness, enter and power respectively. This makes it really convenient. It has an integrated power supply, so there are no bulky cables to deal with. The wiring is neat and not messy and troublesome like some monitors and it has a nice and unique stand. The screen is 15" and i personally feel that the price is reasonable. It has a TFT screen, which is supposedly more beneficial for the eyes. With a contrast ratio of 350:1 and a brightness of 250 cd/m2, it offers good picture quality,
It is easy to use and comes...

Advantages: Thin and good picture quality Disadvantages: May be a bit pricey
...I recently purchased a BenQ FP731 17inch TFT Monitor as my old CRT (The ones that look like TV's.) was getting long in the tooth. TFT as you may know it are the new type of monitors on the market (You may know them as LCD's). Thinner and with a better picture than your bulky old CRT's these seemed to be the way to go. TFT monitors if you didn't know are actually bigger than CRT's in terms of screen size (not by much though.)
After looking at this I opted to buy it, With a response time of 25ms (The time it takes the monitor to refresh an image on the screen) it's about average for a TFT screen. You can get quicker TFT's but if you're like me and hardly play fast games you won't notice the difference if any at all. The screen itself has a maximum resolution of 1280*1024 (and not many people use any above this so it should be fine) I did...
