Manufacturer's product description
The ScanWit 2720S film scanner is the utmost cost-effective solution for film scanning. Its high capability is bound to boost your scan job efficiency significantly. The scanner enables you to scan slides and negative film with one-touch of a button. The auto-loading mechanism can preview or scan up to six frames at one time. With the capability of scanning each film frame within 40 seconds, ScanWit saves you precious time and allows you to arrange your scan job flexibly. While offering an astonishing high scanning speed, ScanWit film scanner maintains a high optical resolution at 2700dpi. This enables the finest details in the film to be captured accurately. ScanWit can differentiate between 4096 gradations of each color for faithful reproduction of details in the film. With the auto positioning and focusing technology, you will no longer have to adjust the focus manually to get a sharp and clear image. ScanWit will do it all automatically. While most film scanners are using multi-reflection mechanisms to do film scanning, ScanWit utilizes its break-through zero-reflection optical technology by letting light pass straight through to the tri-linear color CCD without any mirror reflection. This feature ensures that geometric distortion will not occur to the scanned image. ScanWit employs an auto-loading mechanism to let you load and preview films quickly and conveniently. In just one click, you can preview films together without inserting each film into the machine one by one.

Specification
*************
The 2720s is a 2700 bits-per-inch scanner which can take slides or 35mm negatives which it loads from cartridges. Three cartridges are supplied, one for negatives, and one for each of thin and thick mounted slides. It will scan up to 36bit colour, but I have only used it at 24bit and that is plenty good enough for me. Scans take about a minute at maximum resolution and a full size, 24bit slide-scan uses up about 36Mb of disk space. The dimensions are approximately 15x15x70 cm. It connects to the PC via a SCSI 2 connection. When I bought mine I had to supply my own card but now it is supplied with the card in the box according to Jessops' website.
The supplied software runs on 95/98 and Windows 2000 and according to Acer needs a minimum of 32Mb of memory. That last part...

Advantages: Sharp Picture Quality Disadvantages: Sound not very good
...This BenQ flatscreen monitor is one of the best flatscreen monitors on the market. The picture quality is sharp and the 12ms response time makes it event better. The seveneen inch flatscreen size is massive when compared to a 17 inch CRT monitor. One huge let down and disadvantage of this monitor is the sound output. The sound that the monitor gives out is not very loud. Even on the highest setting the it can be irritating watching DVD's and not being able to hear it very clearly Overall this monitor is of high quality but the built in speakers are not of the highest standard. this means that you will have to go out and buy another pair of speakers....

Advantages: Very bright, nice design, and briliant image quality Disadvantages: Has to cool down before being unplugged, some plus projectors dont have this problem
...The BenQ MP611 is a fantasic projector. I use a lot of these projectors in work on a dialy basis. It Is a quiet unit and a very bright unit, it also ishigh resolution . The Projector is 2400 Lumens making it a perfect idea if you have that small amount of ambient light in your room that you cant quiet seem to get rid off. It has inputs for computers, XboX, DVD, Players and Video players and can be used for many purposes. This projector is sometimes used for home cinema and does a very good job at it, however for home cinema you will have to purchase a decent set of speakers to go with it. It is also commonly used for presentations and is a very good projector for that. The replacement lamps are avaliable quite cheap for this projector and are very easy to get hold of. BenQ support are also avaliable all hours of the day if you have any...
