As my son was approaching his sixth birthday and still sleeping in the Bob the Builder bedding chosen when he first moved out of his cot, I thought it must be time to splash out on a new duvet set! The cartoon character of choice this time round was Ben 10.

...choice this time round was Ben 10.
Ben 10 is a children's tv programme about a boy called Ben (surprisingly enough) who can transform himself into alien super-heroes by using his omnitrix. For those of you who don't have a Ben 10 obsessed child, the omnitrix is a sort of watch that has a big dial which Ben turns and clicks to select which particular alien he needs to turn into. The aliens then set about defeating the villians that ... ...is possible to buy a Ben 10 valance sheet separately if you felt the inclination! (You could go the whole hog and splash out on matching curtains, blankets, cushions and lampshades if you really wanted to! They are all available to buy separately from www.linenstore.co.uk and other sites. They seem to charge a premium price, however, so I'd advise doing some price comparisons before you place an order!)

I bought the duvet set pictured online through www.amazon.co.uk. There were a few marketplace and third party sellers listed on Amazon who were selling the bedding slightly cheaper than Amazon themselves. When I factored in the additional postage costs that the other sellers charged, I found it cheaper to purchase from Amazon directly, even though they weren't showing as the cheapest seller initially. I've always had good service from Amazon and this was no exception as the bedding (and the other bits I'd ordered) arrived within a few days without any problems.
The duvet set is exactly as the picture shows. It only includes a duvet cover and single pillow case, though it is possible to buy a Ben 10 valance sheet separately if you felt the inclination! One side of the duvet features a larger than life size Ben wearing his omnitrix. Around the edge all of his aliens are shown in black silhouette. The reverse is mainly green with some symbols that resemble a circuit board but I'm not too sure where that fits into the Ben 10 thing, to be honest. The pillow case also shows the same Ben 10 picture.
The bedding is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester which makes it both very soft and very hard-wearing and it can be washed at 60 degrees. (Much as all the advertising nowadays is trying to encourage us to wash at lower temperatures, I still like to wash my bedding on 60 degrees to keep it smelling fresh!) The bedding has been washed a fair few times now, as we've had it for several months, and it is still in excellent condition. There's no bobbling and the colours haven't started to fade at all so the fabric appears to be quite good quality and hard-wearing.
If you're looking to update your son's room or want to buy something for the Ben 10 fan who has everything (!), I can't find fault with this bedding set made by Zap.

Advantages: Great quality, washes up lovely, and great range of matching products. Disadvantages: It could be a little cheaper.
I brought A Ben 10 Bed set for my 6 year old son he loves it.
In my opinion it is of high quality and great value It has poppers which makes my job easier when changing the bed.
It has not faided out like other bed sets I have bought and I could not believe all the other matching products I can get to go with it .
I have also put it in the tumble dryer and it has come out fine and no need to iron.
I think that it is a Brilliant product and i ...
