** My Opinion **
This is the only Benefit product I ever go into Boots intending to purchase, and yet, as you've probably noticed, I own quite a number of items in the range.
I think this concealer is fantastic to put it simply. I love the fact that it can be used on its own, with just a little other make up or with a full blown cake of make up on.
I'm generally in the middle somewhere and will mostly wear this with a light layer of Benefits Some Kinda Gorgeous and a little dusting of Benefits Georgia. For me, this gives complete coverage for most of the day.
However, I'm not the type of person to go out without make up on - my skin's quite red and I get terrible bags under my eyes, so for me the best thing about Boi-ing is that I can wear it on its own. If I feel like having a day off from make up, I can just pop some of this under my eyes and on my cheeks where needed. It blends in really well, it looks and feels like I've no make up on, it gives my skin a break and gives me a bit more confidence that enables me to go out without the need for the other items.
So, what's it like to apply? It's not really thick, like a lot of concealers and it's not runny, it's more like a thin cream, so it goes on very well. I find it best to apply it with the fingertips. That way none is wasted and you can blend it in well. A little goes a long way, and I find that instead of sitting on top of the skin, like most concealers do, it is absorbed a bit more, so as to give great coverage without the caked on look.
The only downside to this concealer, is that it's not very effective at covering up spots, and I think it's because, like I said, it doesn't sit on the skin which of course a spot does.
Overall though, this is a fantastic little concealer, and although £15.50 may seem expensive for such an item, I'd say it's well worth the price tag. However, if, like me, you can't really justify buying expensive make up items, you can always do as I do and save up your Boots points and try it for free. This lasts me for ages, even with daily use, so by the time I need more, I've always got enough points saved to treat myself without feeling guilty.
If you use concealer, this is definitely worth a try and I certainly recommend it.
Advantages: Actually covers dark circles; good staying power Disadvantages: Easy to apply too much; Can look cakey on dry skin
...the best I've come across. Benefit make massive claims about the effectiveness of this, saying: "Say good-bye to circles and shadows around your eyes with boi-ing. Our industrial-strength concealer camouflages those pesky "problems" without creasing, smudging, or wearing off." I have to admit that, compared to most of Benefit's other excitingly packaged products, Boi-ing may appear a tad on the dull side. It has recently been repackaged and now comes ... ...spoken to a couple of Benefit ladies, I believe most people opt for number 2, which is the shade I go for. It looks pretty dark in the pot, and at first I was dubious that this would blend with my olive-but-not-very-dark-in-winter skin as it looked a bit too orange toned, but I was really surprised that it matches perfectly. In fact, the fact that it is that little bit darker and does have some slight orange tones to it seems to help balance out ...

...for use under the eyes. Benefit also claim that this concealer will disguise problem areas without creasing, smudging or wearing off.
Usually the concealer would come packaged in a round plastic tub, but as mine was part of a kit, mine was actually just a small amount in a little tray inside the kit itself. It comes in three colours - light, medium and deep. Normally I would have chosen the light as I'm quite pale, however the one that comes with ... ...the skin.
Like all Benefit products Boi-ing is not cheap and retails at a hefty £15.50. It can be purchased from Debenhams. Overall, this was OK. It gave good coverage and had good staying power. The one thing for me that would stop me from buying a full size tub, would be that strange shininess it gave to the skin after application. It may have been down to my skin type or something, as I don't recall having heard of anyone else having this problem, ...

That's where Benefit comes in!
Benefit is a high end make up line, which is also fun! I'm always intimidated by the girls on the posh make up counters, such as Clinique, Lancome, etc. Everything is just so sterile, and unimaginative. Benefit is the opposite - with fun product names, cute packaging, and original ideas, it's definitely one of my favourite brands!
I was discussing make up with a friend of mine (as you do!), and she mentioned ... ...I flicked through my little Benefit catalogue and found this Boi-ing that my friend had talked about. At first it didn't seem like much - 3g of concealer for a whopping £15? A hefty price tag for such a little thing, you might think.
However, my faith in the brand prevailed, and so I handed over my £15 to the folks at Boots (and got triple Advantage Card points on it - excellent...). The girl on the counter tried a little bit of the product on my ...

...costs about £15.50 from the Benefit website, but can also be bought on the Boots, Debenhams and House of Fraser websites and at Benefit counters in those stores. I decided to splash out on this since I use loads of concealer to cover up my dark circles. Thats the trick to Boi-ing, because it is so thick (as it is designed to give really good coverage) you have to make sure you spend time blending to make it look really natural. The coverage is excellent, you don't need much to cover up purpley shades under the eyes. Also for your money it seems like you get quite a lot, I've been using it daily for 2 months and you can hardly see ...

...l bought a lot of Benefit products; they were simply bargains in comparison to the price one pays at home. With the dollar and pound rate being in favour of British shoppers l was getting the goods at just over half price.
I needed a new concealer in my makeup bag, and after reading the Benefit catalogue l choose one called BOI – ING – strange name l will readily admit – but then most of the Benefit range are oddly named.
I bought ... ...in the UK there are Benefit counters to be found in large Boots Stores and in Belfast l know Debhenams sells the range.
So cost implications – l am quoting the dollar price here – it was $15 and at a rate of $1.88 (that’s what my credit card gave me at the time) that works out at around £7.98. In comparison to a Rimmel stick this is dear but l do feel the product is worthwhile. In the UK prices (now correct me if l am wrong) l ...
