I bought Benefit's Realness of Concealness kit a couple of months ago, which contained small sizes of five of their products, one of which was their Boi-ing concealer. Marketed as an 'industrial strength concealer', this product is designed specifically for use under the eyes. Benefit also claim that this concealer will disguise problem areas without creasing, smudging or wearing off.
Usually the concealer would come packaged in a round plastic tub, but as mine was part of a kit, mine was actually just a small amount in a little tray inside the kit itself. It comes in three colours - light, medium and deep. Normally I would have chosen the light as I'm quite pale, however the one that comes with the kit is medium.
I applied the concealer with my fingers, and found that it had a fairly thick yet creamy texture. It glided onto my skin quite smoothly and even though the shade did look slightly out of place with my skin tone, it covered the dark circles under my eyes surprisingly well. On the outside corners of my eyes where I have a bit of redness, I applied a bit of the product there, as I normally would do with my usual concealer. Whenever I blinked or did anything that would cause the corner of my eyes to move though, the concealer seemed to move with it, so I had to keep my face still for 30 seconds or so after application until it set.
The results were fairly impressive - the dark patches under my eyes were well hidden and the make-up didn't look thick or cakey. Despite this though, I did notice that the concealer kept quite a shiny appearance to it once it was on the skin, which unfortunately did nothing but draw attention to the under eye area. I don't think it would be possible to wear this product alone - with foundation it didn't look too bad, but on it's own there was a definite difference in skin texture, and that slight shininess, to me, was quite noticeable.
As for not creasing, smudging or wearing off, I did find that this had good staying power, except, as mentioned when it is first applied, as it seems to take a little while to 'set' onto the skin.
Like all Benefit products Boi-ing is not cheap and retails at a hefty £15.50. It can be purchased from Debenhams.
Overall, this was OK. It gave good coverage and had good staying power. The one thing for me that would stop me from buying a full size tub, would be that strange shininess it gave to the skin after application. It may have been down to my skin type or something, as I don't recall having heard of anyone else having this problem, but I did think it drew attention to the area under my eyes, therefore defeating the purpose of using it.

I have considered buying this a couple of times but the price has put me off. I don't use concealer enough to justify it really - especially if it is only going to end up making my skin look shiny! x

I really like this one - one of the only concealers which actually manage to cover up my dark circles! I also find it quite matte on my skin, so it must react differently to different skin types.
