Give your eye lashes some BAD volume! 15/08/2009

Advantages Brilliant volume without looking silly!
Disadvantages It's expensive... but highly worth it for a nice treat.

Recently a magazine gave away a smaller version of this mascara, which is the reason for the sudden influx in reviews on here for it! I however have been a fan of this mascara for a long time and own the full size version of it. I noticed some mixed reviews for this mascara so I feel I need to voice my own opinion of it! I bought the full size 8.5g mascara in Debenhams as a treat with some vouchers from my Shop and Scan panel. Advantages The packaging is nice
Disadvantages The result doesn't justify the cost

I have used an awful lot of mascaras over the years, including some pretty terrible ones and some fantastic ones too! I wasn't sure which category this product would fit into as I've had a bit of a hit and miss experience with Benefit in the past, though this mascara looks pretty stylish with it's jazzy packaging so I thought I'd give it a try. I can be quite shallow and judge products on looks far too often and so I often end up with a drawer full of 'pretty rubbish'. Advantages Really black colour, gives good thickening effect in one coat, easy to apply
Disadvantages Quite pricey

I'm not a big mascara fan - my sister spends an absolute fortune on the Lancome Hypnose, but having been lucky enough to inherit my Dad's dark, thick lashes, I don't see it as such a necessity so am pretty difficult to impress in the mascara stakes. I bought this in a set which contained Benefit's Dandelion, Benetint and this Bad Lashes Mascara - all for the bargain price of £43 - at £20 each for the Dandelion and the Benetint this was a bargain in itself and the mascara for me was an added bonus. Bad Gal Lash or Bad Lash, Gal? 05/06/2011

Advantages Beautiful application with a wonderful initial effect.
Disadvantages Doesn't wear well, left with flecks on my lower lids after a couple of hours.

If you haven't already spotted I am a bit of a make up junkie. In fact, the first step to try and combat to your problems is admitting you have one, but did this mascara give me a suitable hit? Benefit should know what they're doing, they have been doing the whole make-up thing since 1976, and went seriously global when acquired by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy in 1999 (if you don't know it, it's the biggest luxury goods seller in the world!). Bad? No It's Definitely Good 03/02/2009

Advantages Only requires one coat, lasts all day, no smudging, easily removed, extends lashes
Disadvantages Not waterproof, shelf life only 6 months

I've always been in two minds about trying this Bad Gal Lash Mascara by Benefit. I've always been of the impression that mascara is mascara, whatever the price. I've also read a couple of reviews on Dooyoo which suggested that it may not be worth paying extra for. However, this all changed at Christmas when my fabulous little sister gifted me with a cute tin of Benefit goodies, in which I found this lil beauty.
