Dandelion one of the first products that I brought from the Benefit range!
I was convinced into buying this after reading lots of reviews about this product! The main artical which I read was in the good old gurly mag Cosmopolitan!
I must admit at first I was unsure about this little box!
See I sat there in the makeup artists chair looking in the mirror after the lady had applied it to my face and I thought ! "Well can you really see the difference?"
Not truely convinced at this point I was not completely sure that this little powder made all the difference which the mags had said, I debated on whether to get it at £22.00 a throw!
But after a short think I decided I had to give this product a blast seen as it had, had such good press! Surely there had to something special about this little box of tricks I thought!
.........................and it would seem 2 years on and now a product which I could not do without that there is something about this little box of pink powder!
So what can I expect when I get Dandelion?
Well you can expect to pay £22.00 for a small square green box which has a design with a dandelion on the front! Inside this box when you open it you are greeted with a small little brush which is great for on the go applications of Dandelion! Then underneath the brush you find the goodies. The Dandelion power which looks slightly shimmery with a pale yet perky shade of pink tone to it!
How do I apply?
I would reccomend applying this power with a big powder brush you then apply the powder all over the face (not just on your cheeks! ) and maybe add just a little more to the cheeks to add some more warmth and colour to your cheeks!
What look do I get once applied?
Your skin looks really smooth with maybe a slight airbrush finish you also are left with a slight bit of colour to your skin! This is a great product if you look a little washed out!
How long will the box last?
Well I have managed to make a box of this last for about half a year to a year! Depends how you use it tho!
Is it for me ?
Well if you are wanting to brighten up your complection and make your skin look radiant, this powder is for you! Its great for adding some colour which looks very natural to your face!
Why would I not wanna use it then?
Well if your skin tends to be quite rosey in colour I wouldnt think this product really is the one for you! As this powder tends to bring out your pink tones and maybe if you are already quite pink in colour I would think that maybe you dont want to add anymore colour to your skin!
What would I use underneath do I need foundation on or can I wear it alone?
This is great either just used on a well moisturised face or on its own or over the top of your foundation just to brighten the face up! Either or! You can even just apply this products to your cheeks its really versatile!
SO WHATS MY OVERALL OPINION?
I love Benefit stuff as you girlies will know! But this is one of my faves! I love this product it makes such a difference to the radience of my skin! It really just finishes off my look! I cant go out the house now without putting this on!
I use this alongside the hoola as well just to add a few pinky tones to the browns of Hoola!
Overall a great product to finish your look with!
