I have never bought a benefit item before and only got this one by luck that it was free in a magazine that I buy. The retail for this item is £12, which I personally find is a little expensive for a concealer.

It is a cream coloured concealer in a stick / eyeliner style. The first thing I noticed about this item when first applying it is how soft and creamy it is, how you would expect a khol eyeliner to feel. It did feel a little thick in consistency at the same time, though I do think this is mainly due to the creaminess of the cover up stick.

It was smooth and easy to apply, so it didn't feel harsh from rubbing and it neither felt greasy or sticky. The colour itself matched my skin tone beautifully and blended perfectly with my foundation and did not look at all obvious that I was wearing any form of corrector.

It hides and cover imperfections and spots rather than exaggerating them and as it is soft it does not make the skin feel dried out. Although it does not moistruise the skin, it does make the skin look smoother and more hydrated. In particular it works well on red spots, opposed to those that are slightly dried out as it does really well to cover the red colour and make it blend better with the rest of the skin. It blends in well with any foundation you have already applied, if you just rub it gently into this, then it is very hard to tell that you are even wearing it. This also means that you don't need to change the shade of your foundation due to this if bought in the correct colour.

It also works well for dark circles, when just blended around the eye area it makes you look more awake and your eyes look more radiant. It has a lovely light, even coverage once applied and despite the fact that it is very light on the skin, it does cover dark circles very well and the eye area even looks a little less puffy. I think that this actually works better as an under eye/ under brow highlighter opposed to that as a concealer as it has a slight radiant-ness to it which can reflect the light and I think this suits the under eye area slightly more.

It stays in place all day and does not become greasy or shiny like some concealers can so, but instead remains matte in colour, enabling it to carry on hiding any blemishes. I did not find any need to reapply the product, as sometimes I can find that concealers can become slightly orange or are not as blended as well as the day goes on, however this concealer remained almost exactly the samed to how I had applied it. Despite it being able so stay in place all day, it is still really easy to remove at the end of the day and wipes off really easily due to its creamy texture, which is great for the undereye are as you would not want anything too harsh there.

You only need a little bit each time, which makes me presume that the stick will last for a long time, which makes the price seem a lot more reasonable, so that I may even buy this item at full price! The onlu down side to this product is that I think it may now be discontinued as I cannot seem to find it anywhere, nonetheless I still really love this product and if it is still available I would definitley recommend it!
