I do like products from the benefit range, and whilst they are often quite pricey, they do tend to "do the job" and last quite a long time.

Not particularly liking heavy foundations, this has been my favourite cover up for a while now, and I because a little goes a long way, I tend to but two a year

~~What is it?~~

Basically, it is a tinted moisturiser, but where it differs from a lot of products is that one shade suits all. I don't know quite how this is done, and remember being a tad confused when I bought the first one, but the one shade really does tend to just delicately tint whatever complexion you have.

~~The Promise~~

It promises to give you coverage, SPF15 protection and moisture in one easy to apply product. Tall order!

~~Product and packaging~~

This is a nice one to buy as a gift, coming as it does in a rather smart and tasteful brown box with a picture of the moisturiser on the front. The moisturiser itself comes in a red tube, which is easy to find in your bag, and which has the words "you rebel" emblazoned across the front. The fact that it is a tube means that you can squeeze right down to the last dregs of the foundation, and I suppose if really desperate, you could actually cut the tube open to extract the last bits.

Squeeze the tube and the moisturiser is a light brown shade, delicately fragranced, but not overpowering, so no need to fear that it will clash will any other lotions, potions and perfume. When applied, it is nicely moisturising and soaks easily into the skin, although I think that the fact that it is so easily absorbed means that it doesn't have the all day staying power promised by some heavier foundations.

~~How to use it~~

Simple really… all you do is apply evenly. I do this with my fingers so I don't even need to bother with a sponge or any other bits and pieces.

~~Price and Availability~~

This costs £19.50 for a 50ml tube, which can seem a bit more expensive than other tinted foundations, but as I said before, a little goes a long way and it lasts ages.

It is available from large department stores and Boots the chemist as well as by post.

~~What I think of it~~

For everyday effective, gentle and moisturising coverage, I would recommend this. It's great for people who don't want thick coverage all over their face, and who prefer a more natural look. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about whether the colour"matches" my skin tone, and can just buy a tube and go.

I haven't tested its SPF skills, but I suppose it must be offering some protection if it says so. It is very easy to apply, glides easily onto the skin, and really does feel as though it is offering some extra moisture.

The only thing I don't think it has is the power to stay put all day but then this all adds to a more natural look, and anyway, if I start to look washed out, I can just apply more without feeling as though I am completely clogging my skin.

The colour doesn't seem to make your skin look shades different, it just makes your skin tone look brighter and more even. This may not suit anyone who wants a more matt coverage or who wants their skin tone to look dramatically different, because it certainly does not do this.

For me, this is an excellent all rounder and one which I would recommend.
