We purchased a bed and mattress from Bensons in Chichester , we paid in cash and told that our bed would be delivered in six weeks.
Six weeks passed no bed!! Just a sign of things to come! The staff in the shop were very helpful and apologetic but were unable to do much other than keep referring us back to Customer Services,
We were given another delivery date, guess what, no bed! This happened twice more.
When our bed finally arrived after 12 weeks it was imcomplete.
I phoned Customer Services AGAIN asking to speak to the manager, I got a guy called Darren instead. My description of Darren is not printable im afraid, but I am reliably informed by the staff and other customers that I am not alone in my thoughts of this man. If this is the best that Bensons Beds can employ then I am surprised they are still in business.
Remember this mans name DARREN Customer Services. The Man is a first class imcompetent, rude, arrogant, patronising little snot who needs to be sent on a peoples skills course asap. And the best bit is he has been working for Bensons Beds for 15 years!!! How did that happen! I would not touch Bensons Beds with a barge pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!
