Car Reviews of Bentley »

This car is King-of-the Roads !

Advantages: Perfectly engineered and tailored
Disadvantages: Bit of a gas monster. 10 mpg in the city. And 17 mpg in the country

...reviewed here is the 2008 Bentley Continental GTC. Where do I start with this vehicle I ask myself ? This car in my opinion certainly lives up to all the heritage and royalty Bentley has been known for. Normally when you open up the hood of a vehicle you pop it from the inside, come in and "fish-in" from the grille to find the latch to unleash the hood to get into the engine compartment.....The Bentley is slightly different once you've pulled the ...
...on the hood, - pull on it upwards and the hood opens..( just like magic NOT ! )...Once I got under the hood I found a 6 litre W12 twin-turbo engine. It put's out 552 hp and 479 lbs-ft ( or 649 Nm) of torque. Its supercar status is underlined by its top speed of 195 mph with 0 to 60 times of just 4.8 seconds. The Continental GTC is built to conquer in true grand touring tradition with endless power in reserve. Why buy this car ?...its perfectly engineered ...

Tank or car

Advantages: Its a beast
Disadvantages: it drinks petrol

...ago my friend purchased a Bentley Continental R version .I have become most impressed by the quality of the car. It is built like a tank with its strong hand crafted panels. The interior of the car is black leather seats with a walnut dashboard but since you are paying a huge sum of money for the beast you can choose what ever interior you want, damm right!! The Bentley Continental R is a go anywhere car as long as it is on the road. The huge engine ...
...feel the power. Even though the car is great it drinks petrol like pop and it costs a absolute fportune to fill up the huge tank. The price of the car is huge and with additions and extra they really bump up the price making this car something which only the young enterpaneur of today can afford. ...

Is The British Ballistic Brick Worth It?

Advantages: A big and powerful British luxury car.
Disadvantages: Its basically a ballistic brick.

Many would agree that the Bentley Turbo R is the best thing to come out of the small factory in Crewe. It's turbo charged 6.7litre V8 Turbo certainly isn't economic, but I don't think you will be considering 'economy' once you've stomached the price tag. Considering the huge bulk and weight of the car, it yet delivers very good performance. However, the handling is far from ideal and parking this beast can prove a bit of a challenge. There are several ...
...sadly disappeared from Rolls-Royce and Bentley saloons around 1969 - only to enjoy a resurgence in recent years - are two opening compartments containing Staffordshire lead crystal decanters and glasses. Each compartment is lavishly padded and lined with Connolly hide and panelled on the outside with burr walnut, and clicks shut with reassuring crispness. The rear seat centre armrest has a hinged lid which when opened reveals a hallmarked sterling ...

Great British Classic

Advantages: Highly reliable, great features
Disadvantages: Expensive to fuel

I bought this car in 2003 used from a main dealer with 33,000 miles on the clock. Being used to owning new cars, it really had the feel of still being new with factory mileage on the clock. The interior and exterior both made it look like new and drive like a dream. I live in a small town with major traffic problems and I find it a great hassle finding a place to park, this car is huge and has the turning circle of a bus compared to my other cars ...
...car with metallic paint, cd changer, DVD player and TV's in the head restraints for £45,000 which was pretty good for a Bentley. I'd driven past the showroom many times and saw the price getting lower and lower until it finally reached my price range. This is truly a great car, handles well, comfortable ride and great performance. I have never had a problem with it, except a flat tyre which I had to call the AA out for. Not because I can't change ...
