Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.)
Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Other bus companies from slightly further afield, such as Trent Barton , terminate at the local coach station within the centre . A few years ago I splashed out on a new King-Sized bed. Oooh, it was lovely. I also decided to buy a headboard, but they were quite expensive. The quality was good though and as I was buying a bed from Dreams, it seemed sensible to buy a headboard there as well.
Their shop is very well presented, I knew kinda what I wanted when I went there, but as soon as I walked in the door, I wanted everything!
Behave! Anyway, I selected a bed that cost an arm and a leg via the helpful salesman (no doubt commission based!) The headboards also come in a wide variety of prices, colours, textiles and patterns.

My lovely husband booked a short stay in New York for my ?surprise? 30th birthday. This was in 2002 and we went there at the beginning of October of that year. Just as a side note before I start the review of the hotel, the weather was fantastic and for much of the time we went out regularly in T-shirts.
Anyway we stayed at The Bentley Hotel for the whole of our stay and overall we were impressed and enjoyed our time there.
**ABOUT THE HOTEL**
The Bentley is a 3 star hotel which was built in 1904 and last renovated in 2002, however I have a feeling some renovation may be going on now as the roof top restaurant has been closed until further notice.
