Berchet Baby Too Comfort Trike

Advantages: Looks good. Safe baby seat with belts and removable safety bar.
Disadvantages: Very Dangerous! Parts fell off exposing sharp screws and steering broke.

...Pros. = We bought this trike for our son as we saw that the steering handle would allow us to take him to the play area at the other end of our road without having to use a great big pram or a buggy. We thought it would make to whole experience more fun. The trike looks great and my son loved it. The pull-down foot rest is a great idea. So too is the ability to 'unlock' the pedals on the front wheel so they can't trap the feet of children too young to pedal for themselves. The baby seat with safety belts, removable safety bar and additional back rest certainly made the trike comfortable. There is a little bucket on the back which is OK for putting toys in. Cons. ...~ Smart trike with sunroof ~ I brought this trike about 3 months ago for my 1 year old son. I am really happy with it and my son loves to travel on it everywhere we go. I have even resulted taking it to sainsburys shopping because he is much happier on his trike than sitting in the trolley. I needed a trike that had a parent handle so that when we go out it is easy to push and to control. The parent handle on this trike is excellent, you can actually steer the trike and have full control. It comes with foam padding on the handle for comfortable handling ideal for long walks. The handle is easy to detach from the trike for storage and for when the child grows up and can pedal by themselves. ...PLEASE DO NOT BUY! THE TRIKE IS DANGEROUS! I purchased this trike for my daughter's first birthday because I thought it looked and sounded great and I felt that the rigid safety harness is very good. I took my little one out for a walk in it and as soon as I encountered the first lowered curb, the bike tipped over to the side with my baby in it because it could not manage to get over the 1 inch hurdle. Luckily, I managed to catch the trike before my daughter hit her head on the tarmac. The parent handle can not be installed tight enough and in order to turn the front wheel to a degree either left or right, the parent handle has to make an almost 90 degree turn before the front wheel even starts to move a friction. A one hand handling is completely impossible and it takes a lot of effort to steer the trike and to keep it level... Read review
