Looking to buy a property in this turbulent market, with 4 possibles after 60+ viewings, we have come across many different agents with many different working methods!
So far, Beresford Adams have been the best. On seeing the property on RightMove, we emailed and received a reply answering all our questions within the hour. The questions had involved them contacting the vendor, which we thought was excellent, considering we had not done anything but email at this stage. We then set about making a viewing which was hassle free and sorted again very fast. After the viewing, we emailed them to ask further, and again efforts were made to reply back to us quickly. They assigned us one person to make sure the person we spoke to knew the case, so there was no confusion when contacting the office.
Due to the property being old, it had a number of issues which arose only after the initial survey. They worked over the weekend to go between the vendor and myself, conveying the problems and working out solutions to suit us all.
So far, after experiencing agents that cost someone a sale because of lieing to us about it being rejected when the vendor didnt even know we had offered (!), Beresford Adams are by far the superior agent so far, from a purchaser point of view. You get the feeling that they treat you as importantly as the vendor.
