Graphic but not novel!
Review of The Last Hero - Terry Pratchett by dididave

Advantages: Beautiful illustration.
Disadvantages: Short, expensive.

...The Last Hero is billed a Discworld Fable. Dictionary definition: Discworld- a flat world supported by four giant elephants. They in a turn are perched on the back of Great A'Tuin the world turtle which swims through space. Fable- a legendary story of supernatural happenings. In order to set the scene it might be best if I introduce you to some of the characters: Cohen the Barbarian- aging hero The Silver Horde- Cohen's band of fellow hero's. When people ask are they old? People answer, no experienced! Rincewind- a failed wizard, even his hat spells it wizzard. Rincewind is one of few people to have survived the Horde, but then he has also survived falling of the edge of the world. Ponder Stibbons- A student Wizard full of ideas but with no common sense. Archchancellor Ridcully- Head of Unseen University, unlike Stibbons Ridcully... Read review

The only gripe I have with this book is the description of a fracture which was a comnplicated or compound fracture but he calls it a greenstick fracture - a fracture that an adult is unlikely to sustain. Vampyrrhic Rites is the sequel to Vampyrrhic, written by Simon Clark and published by Hodder and Stoughton. It is exactly what it sounds like from the title - a book about vampires. Based around a small Yorkshire town called Leppington, home of Electra Charnwood, the proprietor of the Station Hotel. Three years after she, Bernice... Read review
