Gemma and Alice, born on the same day, have been devoted best friends ever since. Despite Gemma's larger-than-life personality and Alice's quieter, calmer character, the two are...
more...inseparable - until that is Alice has to move house, all the way to Scotland. Gemma is utterly distraught, particularly at the thought that Alice might find a new best friend. Is there anything Gem's brothers, or perhaps her grandad, can do to help? Established fans, especially male readers, will be delighted to re-encounter the flamboyant Biscuits, co-star of Buried Alive! and Cliffhanger. A charming, funny and touching story will be adored by all Wilson fans from 7 upwards. See all Product Description

the book is about 2 girls called gemma and alice who are best friends and have the same birthdays. gemma is very loud and a bit lairy and very sporty whereas alice is very girly and shy. anyway the 2 girls are always together and having sleepovers round eachothers houses, but one day gemma reads alices diary and discovers alice has a secret. so she confronts her about it and it turns out she is moving to scotland. the 2 girls cant bear to be apart so they run away together but meet a boy from school who tells his mum so when the girls are on the train to london (just leaving the station) the parents come so they have to return. when alice is gone gemma is really miserable and you will have to read the rest! love jadey xxx
