Advantages: fun, easy for beginners, satisfying visuals, Disadvantages: too much gore for some viewers
Soldier of Fortune puts you in the shoes of John Mullins and your job is to stop the terrorist organization that is planning a new thermonuclear holocaust. You are told to dispatch as many terrorist, skinheads and enemy's that is necessary. Soldier of fortune is extremely fun but very graphic and gory. Some people might find certain levels or gore disturbing in game so the creators of this game have given you the option of switching mass gore off a very hand feature for anyone who doesnt like to see legs blown off or intestines showing.

Well, I first saw this game in a magazine and thought WOW it looked complete, it had a pretty good review, and it had some pretty neat screen shots. I then decided, about 3 years later, to purchase the game for under a tenner. Here are my opinions:

The plot to Soldier of Fortune is that you are John Mullins who is the guy called in when a job is too messy for the government to handle. You work for the shop, a mysterious company who you work for. You are armed with an array of weapons at your disposal, and you must complete your missions to get paid and to progress to the next level. Sounds like many games.
