I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe. Firefighting Phoebe gets her reward

Advantages: Warm story about caring and loving child and father
Disadvantages: issue of firefighting and child being left alone

My children were always very careful with their books and it is still in good condition, it has also been read by younger cousins and is now being saved for grandchildren.
