Advantages: Free delivery, good pay if you work for them, great experience! Disadvantages: Weather and some members of the public can be rude.
I am a Betterware Distributor at the moment, and it can be both a rewarding and sometimes crappy job to do.
I got the job because I am currently a student, and the job fits around my studies very easily. I have most of my evenings free, so I thought that I may aswell do something with that time, rather than waste it away on the computer doing nothing.
Before Betterware, I worked for Letterbox Direct, a company which deals with the delivery of free local papers. I delivered the Pontefract and Castleford Extra, as this is my local free paper. The job was ok, but I was getting paid 15.00-20.00 pounds per week to deliver and sort out 400 papers. It just wasn't worth the money and hassle.
Funnily enough, I found the Betterware Distributor job in the free paper. I looked every week for a better job than delivering the local free paper ...
Advantages: Unique products, face to face contact wih rep. Disadvantages: Long delivery times, Poor customer service
she would ring back.
>> Finally, she did. She said the goods would be re-ordered and sent out again.
>> Another week and I finally received them – well not really! The items where sent to the correspondence address instead of the delivery address. Only the hob covers where there, the bag was opened and items missing. I had already moved out by then, so I was annoyed I had to make a special trip just to pick it up.
>>I chose to email a complaint this time asking for a cancellation and a full refund.
>>This time they where more helpful and refunded the missing items and still went ahead and gave them to me for free.
~~Verdict:
Despite the refund I don’t feel confident shopping with Betterware online (www.betterware.co.uk) or offline via the catalogue.
However, their products are of pretty good quality so ...
Advantages: take up less room Disadvantages: depends which make you buy!
I had decided to buy some of those vacum storage bags from the tv shopping channels. You know the ones i mean out all your spare bedding, clothes, towels soft toys ect in the bags suck all the air out and they store in a lot less room and are safe!
The only problem was that they were quite expensive especially when you add the postage costs in to the price, so when my betterware catalogue was delivered a few weeks ago and I noticed they had started make these vacum bags I got very excited and ordered 3 packs.

Each pack has 3 bags in it 1 large (55 x 85 cm) and 2 jumbo (60 x 105cm) Each pack cost £13.99. These are different to the bag on tv and I have to say different isn't better!
They are quite a thick plastic which feels very sturdy, the problem though is with the sealing system or not ...
