I recently bought a Dreamland Thermo Therapy heatpad for my father in law, who after a fall was suffering with backache. I saw this product advertisd in the Argos catalogue for £15.98. Cat. No. 442/8121 and decided to get him one.
This heatpad is covered with a cream soft towelling material and is washable in warm water with a mild detergent and measures 32cm by 40cm The pad can be used to target aches and pains virtually anywhere on the body but it is ideal for backache, as it can be kept in position very easily.
I was very pleased to see that it had a special safety devise which automatically regulates the temperature by turning the power on and off and has an automatic shut down system after 90 minutes - ideal for those who are forgetful.

The SnuggleSafe is a red 210mm round disk ? slightly smaller than the average dinner plate. The reason for this is that it has to be the right size to fit into a microwave. Advantages: helps relieve muscle aches/pains/stomach cramps/backache, easy to use!!! Disadvantages: average in price! the cable could be longer!
Obviously this pad is meant for muscle aches and pains to help relieve the pain on that area. But I am a lover of getting into a warm bed so about 10 minutes before i get to bed i lay this on my side to warm it up. Also I suffer with period pains often and I have bowel problems as mentioned in a previous post as well so it really helps to relieve the stomach aches I get on an alomst daily occurance. I haven't put the pad on my back yet but it is suitable for your back, neck,shoulders, legs etc and it heats up at different levels. you can have it on a low heat or a high heat. I prefer to have the highest heat as I can feel it a lot more although the least heat is still warm and effective its just my personal preference.
