it is suitable for all ages. I took my family to see it, the youngest at that time ten years old and was not concerned by the language used. The film runs for 2 hours 22 minutes, no one was bored.

The film was truly inspirational, inspiring Michael Kamen, to set up the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation that supports music education in 1996. Used instruments are donated, refurbished and given to school, individuals and community groups nationwide.
