Bhs, just like a cheaper version of Marks and Spencers.
From lamps to chocolate hearts, BhS stocks a wide range of products. The quality of the goods is not quite as great as M&S though. They don't fall apart, but the material and stitching doesn't seem to be of as good a quality as that of more expensive shops. But for this the goods are generally cheaper. For example, a pair of slippers are about £20 whereas in M&S they're about £30.
The sell clothes for women, men and children. The womens clothes are for those older than 30 as they're really "frumpy" and sensible. One of their ranges that is quite nice for any age, teens to the elderly is their summer swimming costume range. The childrens clothes go up to about the age of 11 or 12. The school clothes are really good as they seem to last for a long time on my brother and sister ( age 9 and 11) and the styles are okay just for the kids. I don't really know what the mens range is like but put it this way- I don't really know anyone who buys their clothes in BhS as you don't get a very good fasion style for the amount you're paying.
At occasions during the year (Valentines day, Halloween etc) BhS do a cool couple of shelves with "different" products on them. For example, thsi Valentines day I got my boyfriend a cute little devil bear that said "Ilove you" and a straw with 2 drinking spouts. Sad git I know I am!!! In total it was £6 for the talking bear and £1 for the straw. And the laugh on his face was worth it!
BhS also do an extensive range of lamps. Some of them are funky for kids and the others are practically chandellears! They range in prices from about £10 to about £70. hey also stock other houeshold itmes like bedding, pillows and cultery. These aren't particuarly cheap but are quite cool and of a good quality. The plates aren't very nice but are cheap. There's a funky range of cups and glasses- not just ordinary clear glass but with different colours on top of it for about £5!
The shop is set out quite well but annoyingly doesn't have any signs. The ailes are big and easy to walk through, even if you have a pushchair or wheelchair. Some of the products are hard to find but normally I can see what I'm looking for. The shop is normally quite clean with the occasional piece of litter drifting around.
In general, I don't like BhS that much as the staff are really, well, nasty. If you try to take anything back you have to anwser 101 questions and they evil throughout the process as if to say "why our you taking our wonderful goods back, take them home again now!" Three's also a great lack of them as the queues are quite long and the customer service till is often just not activated.
So overall I think that if you want plain, boring clothes and bad service then go to BhS. You get quite good quality for fairly cheap prices and if you search for quite a while then you probably could find something decent. If you don't want hassle then don't bother shopping here.

Advantages: lovely clothes not found in other stores, good sales, lots of products, helpful staff, good returns policy Disadvantages: find the racks of clothes packed close together in my local store
Advantages: no problems with asking for a refund however i did have the receipt and packaging was unopened. Disadvantages: Voices were raised, store manager was unavailable.
